Conferences and Functions at Saxon Lodge

Saxon Lodge offers an ideal setting for strategic meetings, business planning, team building and incentive programmes. We can accommodate up to 15 delegates in our newly refurbished rooms and conference facility. We have everything on site and are not open to non-residents, which provides an intimate and focussed environment for these types of events.

Our conference room is well appointed and fully equipped to accommodate most meeting requirements. Special AV needs are outsourced to a reliable supplier.

All meals and refreshments are prepared on-site and served in our restaurant or on a good day outside overlooking the Harbour. Our indoor braai facility lends itself to great evenings, regardless of the weather, around a roaring fire catching up with the day and bonding as a team.

Delegates are provided with luxury accommodation at the lodge either sharing or as single accommodation.

The region provides great activities for team building and extra-mural fun and includes Great White Shark -cage diving, Whale watching, Wine tasting – either off site at the nearby local wine farms or on-site at our lodge (the regional wine here is amongst the finest South Africa has to offer), hikes through some of the most beautiful coastline reserves in the Cape and quad biking, 4X4 and kayaking.

The lodge boasts 9 spacious en-suite rooms, most of which have private view verandas with great sea views. All the rooms have just been repainted and individually redecorated to create a tranquil and restful ambiance – a “home from home” feeling. We have double and twin rooms and 2 family suites for families or groups travelling together.

Weddings and Special Functions

Saxon Lodge is a great venue for small and intimate functions such as weddings, birthdays and special occasion celebrations. We accommodate a maximum of 30 people sharing.

We provide excellent catering and decor to make the function a time to remember.
